Donald Sheldon - Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sheldon has operated as President and CEO of a number of public companies over the past 25 years. As president of Pure Gold Resources (now Pure Diamonds Exploration Inc. – PUG:TSE) from 1992 to 2005, Mr. Sheldon has overseen fundraising in excess of 40 million dollars, and arranged a number of JV projects with multi-national companies. Currently, de Beers Canada is Pure Diamond's JV partner in the NWT of Canada. Mr Sheldon has financial contacts throughout the world and specializes in orchestrating JV relationships with multi-national companies.
Norman Davidson Kelly - Director and President
Mr. Kelly has spent thirty years in the petroleum business, principally in the areas of corporate management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and international business development. He was a member of the executive committee of BHP Petroleum from 1995 to 2000, and previously spent twenty years with LASMO plc, a UK independent oil company as director, corporate development. From 2001 to 2003 he was CEO of Mena Energy Limited, a company established to invest in Middle Eastern oil and gas projects.
Garth Edgar - Director and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Edgar's past experience includes being a pipelines and utilities analyst in Toronto and Vancouver; a Senior Economic Analyst with the Canadian Federal Government; a Vice-President, Regulatory Affairs with a national communications services provider; founder and CFO of a medical device company; and more recently, principal of VenturePlus Partners, a management consulting firm providing financial, administrative, governance and business development services. Mr. Edgar is also Past President of the Canada Taiwan Trade Association.
Robert Brian Murray - Director
Mr. Murray is an independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Range Energy Resources Inc. Since 1990 he has been the President of Murcon Ltd., a private financial consulting company involved in merchant banking, located in Toronto, Canada. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. Mr. Murray serves as a director for a number of public companies trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Roger Bethell - Director
Mr. Bethell has worked as a consultant on a number of international projects which include offshore Vietnam, Kazakhstan, the Delta Project in Nigeria and projects in Alberta/ Saskatchewan, Canada. Mr. Bethell, acting as a consultant on these projects, provided a liaison with the property owners, governments and the JV partners.
Patrick Genevraye - Director
Mr. Genevraye is a freelance energy consultant based in France providing technical studies, evaluations and assistance in negotiations for the acquisition and development of oil and gas opportunities primarily in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Prior to this, Mr. Genevraye held several senior positions with Total Petroleum including Senior Executive in charge of Total Group operations and business development in Iran, Oman and Syria. He has served on several boards including Oman LNG, and the Oman government’s Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).
Ala Nuseibeh - Director
Mr. Nuseibeh is Chief Executive Officer of KAN International Petroleum Services, a regional oil and gas company based in Amman, Jordan. He specializes in identifying upstream and downstream oil and gas opportunities, arranging strategic partnerships and facilitating project financing. He has served on several boards of listed companies and currently advises local and multinational companies on upcoming opportunities and strategies covering North, Central and Eastern Africa, Middle East and the Caspian Region.
